Do you have an approved Bridge Watch Alarm System already?
The deadline is approaching: Cargo vessels above 3000GT have to be equipped with an approved Bridge Navigational Watch Alarm System (BNWAS) latest by 1st July 2012. Vessels between 500GT and 3000GT are due 1st July 2013.
If your vessels are already fitted with a watch alarm system or dead man alarm system then there is a chance that this system is accepted by the classification societies and you may not require to install a BNWAS system. To confirm please contact your class society. Approval is subject to the class surveyor who will issue a certificate of compliance.
If you do not have a watch alarm system or the existing one is not accepted to fulfill the requirements of MSC 128(75), please contact us to find the best solution for your vessels.
Whether you want to just comply with the minimum requirements or you are looking for additional features for example a motion sensor – we have the right system for you.
We will provide you with the equipment together with a detailed installation instruction and checklist for your crew to run the cables and install the units. On confirmation of completion of installation, our engineers will attend to commission the equipment. We can also provide full service of complete installation and commissioning if this is your preference.
Please contact our sales team for quotations or if you have any questions.
